The San Francisco Bay Times just reviewed Krapp's Last Tape this week.

"If an actor's body is an instrument, Paul Gerrior's is like a set of bagpipes...[he] works like the Scottish musical lung - inhaling, holding and exhaling to create impossible music out of Samuel Beckett's most autobiographical play. But then again, so rich is Gerrior's performance... that he might just have an entire orchestra hidden up his sleeves."

Viewpoints Class with Anjali Vashi

You may remember her hysterical turn as the Maid in The Bald Soprano, and next season she will appear in Will Eno's Lady Grey (in ever lower light). Here's a rare opportunity to study the nine Viewpoints in the Bay Area with theater professor, Anjali Vashi.

This class will be an intensive course in the building blocks of the nine Viewpoints training method. First created by Mary Overlie and adapted to the theater by Anne Bogart, Tina Landau and the SITI Company, Viewpoints is a comprehensive, post-modern physical and vocal exploration into the uses of Time and Space as a means to create theatrical moments on stage.

Anjali Vashi is a theater director, producer, performer and teacher who is originally from New York City, now living and working in San Francisco. She has been training and teaching the Viewpoints for the past 10 years. She is currently on the faculty of University of San Francisco.
